Although this book is titled as a history of Panzer Brigade 105 it reads more like a history of LXXXI.A.K. for September 1944. Many units from the corps are covered and their movements and actions are described in detail. If you are a fan of 116 panzer division or the 9 panzer division you should look into it as it gives many accounts of these units actions. In the case of the 9th panzer division this extends into months of October through December and beyond as 105 PB was consolidated into this division and the whereabouts of former brigade members are described as much as possible. Of course there is also plenty of coverage of Stu.Pz.Abt.217, independent Sturmgeschütze brigades and the infantry units involved. Being interested in organizational structure I found the first chapter about the units organization and activation especially interesting. I also commend Timm for extensive footnoting, his very detailed reference pages as well as the appendices.
